Michael Young started his teaching career in 1974. From Ballroom, Latin, Country, Disco, and finally to Argentine Tango, his thirty years of experience and his clear explanation of the dance make him a perennial favorite of his students everywhere. He has trained ballroom students and teachers across Canada and the United States, both socially and competitively, and has taught the subtleties of Argentine Tango in Canada and the US, as well as in Mexico and Buenos Aires. His tango has developed through instruction from some wonderful tangueros/maestros like Pablo Nieves, Gustavo Naveira, Eduardo Saucedo, Fabian Salas, Osvaldo Zotto, Metin Yazir, Daniel Lapadula, and others. |

As a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Michael’s extensive knowledge of kinesthetics and NLP in combination with well-defined instruction techniques is a unique combination. Michael believes that all dances are to be enjoyed, but it is in Argentine tango that he finds a dance form which entails all shades of emotions and ultimate freedom of improvisation. His ability to make learning fun and understandable is unparalleled. They don’t call him the Dance Doctor for nothing! Since September 2002 he has been touring with Beatrix Satzinger teaching tango throughout Canada, United States, Mexico, and in Buenos Aires. |
